Twenty five years ago, Nike introduced one of the most successful shoes in
history, the Air Force 1. Because of its cushioning technology, the AF1 is
considered to be the forefather of the functionalbasketball shoe. Jamaal
Wilkes is one of the 6 original Nike athletes to endorse the the AF1 shoe, and
in honor of this, a specially designed Jamaal Wilkes shoe will be introduced by
Nike in early 2007.
